To become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts, applicants must meet have completed an eligible Master's level degree program, completed 3,360 hours direct contact post graduate clinical hours under a licensed supervisor, successfully complete the state board exam and stay current on required Continuing Education Units (CEUS) to maintain ongoing credentialing. License holders are approved to conduct individual and group psychotherapy via businesses, social services agencies or in private practice.

LMHCs do not prescribe medications, however, when requested and with proper releases, I do work closely with prescribers as an adjunct of care and as part of the treatment team.
I hold office hours in downtown Plymouth, MA. There is a waiting list for in person sessions however I am currently expanding this area of my practice!
Sometimes I will meet established clients at a beach or park should they wish to bring an emotional support animal that is not technically a service animal, or if a client wishes to meet outdoors this can be sometimes arranged.
Yes, if your pet is officially registered as a service animal.
I firmly believe that the time you take for the appointment is for yourself and yourself only, please do not bring children to sessions.
Great Question! You can download the app or register via my website. A day before your appointment you will receive an automated text message reminding you of your session. When you login you will see a hyperlink which you will click on, allow camera and microphone and you’re set.
*A special note about Telehealth- Whether your session is in person or online, I want to stress the importance of this time for you. Please be distraction free for the length of the session, in a private place where you feel most secure to express your deepest thoughts. Some clients prefer to do their Telehealth appointments in their car for this reason, as others in the household may overhear or interrupt the session, limiting the effectiveness of the work.

During my normal availability, I strive to return texts and phone calls within 24 hours. Emergencies requiring immediate attention should always call 911 or present at a local emergency room. As releases are signed providers will reach out to me or you can do so directly leaving a message to alert me.
At this time I do not take insurance, allowing me to focus solely on client care and minimize administrative overhead and billing.
Currently my rate is $175 for a 50 minute Telehealth session and $200 for in person meeting. In limited circumstances sliding scales may be possible depending on availability.
Venmo, Zelle and wire transfers are gratefully accepted. Fees are due at time of service with a 10% discount available for repeating sessions paid in advance.
Things happen, I get it! If we had planned for an in person session it is possible to switch to a Telehealth appointment the day of at the time of your session. Cancellations made without 48 hours notice. will be assessed a 75$ cancellation fee, no call no shows will be responsible for the full session fee.
It is my hope that “be good family” can be practiced for all my clients; with a bit of notice I may be able to offer someone who wishes to come in sooner than their next scheduled appointment that spot, and vice versa, should you find yourself wishing to come in sooner than your next scheduled appointment another client canceling will have given that same opportunity to you.
